How often does Candyland clear 20% THC?
Candyland clears 20% THC in 61% of 514 flower tests; 20% met or passed 25%, 3.1% met or passed 30%, and the median was 20.99%.1

Are published THC figures for Candyland too low?
The one single THC figure we checked was below Candyland's lab median of 20.99%.1 Leafly publishes 19%; at that cutoff, 73% of lab tests were at or above it.1,3
For ranges, AllBud's 18–24% covered the largest slice, 58% of tests, while Grand Daddy Purp's 14–19% covered the smallest, 22%.1,4,5
Those figures are outside summaries, not batch guarantees. For any specific package, the relevant document is that batch's certificate of analysis.
| Source | Published figure | Tests at or above it | Tests inside the range | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Daddy Purp (seller)5 | 14–19% | 95% | 22% | most tests came in above it |
| AllBud4 | 18–24% | 83% | 58% | covers most tests |

What is the dominant terpene in Candyland?
Candyland's dominant terpene is β-caryophyllene, though it does not lead every profile: it led 68% of 421 tests, ahead of limonene at 29% and α-pinene at 2.9%.1
Leafly's terpene note points to caryophyllene; in our test-by-test count, β-caryophyllene led 68%, so the sources line up.1,3 Nearly all terpene records came from Nevada, which supplied 416 of 421 tests, so these shares mostly reflect flower tested in that state.1
| Terpene | Tests where it led | Share of tests |
|---|---|---|
| β-caryophyllene | 285 | 68% |
| Limonene | 120 | 29% |
| α-pinene | 12 | 2.9% |
| β-myrcene | 4 | 1.0% |

Which strains share Candyland's terpene profile?
Georgia Pie, Gushers and Tropicana Cherry share Candyland's terpene profile most closely, each with 93% overlap and a β-caryophyllene lead; the least similar strain in the 36-strain comparison is Durban Poison, led by terpinolene, at 33% overlap.1
We start with median results for eight terpenes, convert them to each terpene's share of that strain's eight-terpene total, then compare the shared share between two strains; identical mixes score 100. The pool includes only strains with at least 30 tests reporting individual terpenes. This is a chemistry comparison, not a forecast of effects.
| Strain | Overlap | Lead terpene (by median) | Tests with terpenes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Georgia Pie | 93% | β-caryophyllene | 91 |
| Gushers | 93% | β-caryophyllene | 74 |
| Tropicana Cherry | 93% | β-caryophyllene | 61 |
| Gelato | 91% | β-caryophyllene | 371 |
| Sherbet | 90% | β-caryophyllene | 193 |
| Durban Poison (least similar) | 33% | Terpinolene | 236 |

Is Candyland in the middle for THC?
Yes, Candyland sits in the middle third for THC: its 20.99% median ranks 24th of 58 strains, just below Gelato at 21.58% and just above Gushers at 20.95%.1 By the 25% cutoff, its 20% share also ranks 24th.1
The middle half covers 18.84%–23.86%, a span of 5.02 points; among 52 strains with enough data, that spread is 25th-narrowest, so Candyland lands near the pack for consistency.1
| Rank | Strain | Median THC | Middle half | Tests |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22nd | Sour Diesel | 21.68% | 19.00%–25.30% | 1,071 |

Can Candyland THC vary by lab within one state?
Yes, Candyland THC varies by lab within Nevada: the 3 labs with at least 20 Candyland tests differed by 4.93 points, and across the 4 labs with at least 20 tests the median ran from 19.33% at Lab D in Washington to 24.36% at Lab A in Nevada, a gap of 5.03 points.1
The spread remains inside Nevada: the 3 labs with at least 20 Candyland tests differ by 4.93 points, from 19.43% to 24.36%.1
Because labs receive flower from different growers, this spread should not be read as proof that a lab scores high; it reflects both cultivation and testing pathways. On this page lab names are masked, with Lab A representing the lab with the largest Candyland count; the downloadable test file gives the names.1
| Lab | State | Tests | Median THC | Share at 20% or more |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lab A | Nevada | 212 | 24.36% | 87% |
| Lab B | Nevada | 107 | 19.43% | 39% |
| Lab C | Nevada | 97 | 19.73% | 44% |
| Lab D | Washington | 36 | 19.33% | 47% |

Does Candyland show more terpenes at higher THC?
Yes, higher-THC Candyland showed more total terpenes in the paired lab data: the highest-THC third (22.91% or higher) had a 2.25% median, versus 1.41% for the lowest-THC third (19.81% or lower).1
Within states, only Nevada met the sample rule, and it matched the overall direction: 1.42% in the low-THC third versus 2.25% in the high-THC third.1 Total terpenes are measured as aroma-compound weight; that measurement is not evidence about effects.
| Tests from | Tests | Lowest-THC third | Highest-THC third |
|---|---|---|---|
| All states | 425 | 1.41% | 2.25% |
| Nevada | 416 | 1.42% | 2.25% |

Within Nevada, the line is also flat: 2020 measured 20.19%, 2022 measured 20.15%, and the difference was −0.04 points.1 We omit years below the 20-test cutoff.
| Year | Tests | Median THC |
|---|---|---|

What forms is Candyland tested in?
Candyland is tested mostly as flower under the exact name: 536 of 716 records, or 75%, with shake and trim at 12%, concentrates at 12% and other or unrecorded at 1.4%.1 For this site’s calculations, we keep the flower records and leave the other forms out.
The broader name search found 128 longer-name records, equal to 15% of all records containing Candyland; the largest were “Candyland Cookies” (56), “CandyLand F2” (15) and “CandyLand x F5F10” (13).1 Because extra words, cross notation and CBD labels can indicate another product, those records stay outside the dataset; see our matching method.

What this data cannot tell you
- These tests sampled Candyland flower from 6 states across 2016–2023; they cannot certify the contents of your jar, which is what the batch certificate of analysis is for.1
- Chemistry can describe the sample, but it cannot decide your personal experience with Candyland.
